    I want to run site kit on the production server. Each time I attempt this I am asked to authenticate my account and when I do that I am redirected to the staging server. When I return to the production site and open the dashboard for Site Kit the big banner asking me to connect is still in place.

    While developing this site we ran site kit on the staging server. Site Kit is working perfectly there. It would be nice to have it on the production server too.

    Thanks for reaching out. Your old site may have have been registered on the Site Kit service, which is why you may be encountering this issue. In order to troubleshoot this can you share the following:

    1. Your Site Health information, you can share privately using this form.
    2. What was your staging site URL, and did you make any modifications to the default admin path on your staging site?

    Note that we’re also working on changes to better detect and allow for such migrations at present.

    I’ve posted the information from the production site using your form.

    The staging site is https://staging.adelphi.co.nz and it is a default installation.

    Is your WP dashboard located at wp-admin or another location?

    @budasy thanks again for the info! We’ve made some adjustments on our side. Could try the setup process again and let us know if you are able to proceed?

    @reneesoffice you’ve made me very happy!

    Everything worked. I was prompted to sign in and then walk through the steps to configure the account. At the end I was returned to the correct domain.
