My first theme – wp_monochrome

Nice and clean.
Does not look too good in IE7. The grey bloch in the header shifts and the posts have no right margin.
Validate your css here: https://jigsaw.w3.org/css-validator/ there are some errors apart from the ususal moz stuff.

With 10 or more full posts on the front page you make it hard to find your interesting posts. Why not break them off with a read more link or add a recent posts block at the top rightside (with titles of the 10 latest posts).
Just my thoughts.

It’s a good start, but definitely looking good for a clean & simple style theme.

@henkholland. Thanks for the input. I’m still working on the IE problems. It was working fine in IE7 until I tried fixing a couple of problems in IE6. I’ll have to check IE7/8 again now.

I’ve changed the front page to show only the excerpts. I’ll throw in the option to choose excerpt/full content when I create a theme options page. But initially I’ll be releasing it without theme options.

As for CSS validations, I did validate the CSS, but all those IE hacks are causing the errors.
