embed single instagram post?

    I would like to embed a single instagram post, not a whole feed.
    I do not find any explanations about how to do it.
    Could you be so kind and explain it? I am sure there are many other people who would like to know this! It would be great!

    PS: I already tried to insert the “embed” code that instagram is providing for single posts (but it results in an empty box, as in the case where the connection is not allowed – well known problem since october 2020!) / also, I tried to insert only the link to that one instagram post, which resulted in nothing but WP displaying a link, and nothing else.

    Thank you for reaching out to us. The Pro version of the plugin will allow you to filter posts that may work for your needs. However, with the Free version you can fix the broken embeds by using the steps in the following FAQ: https://smashballoon.com/doc/how-to-fix-the-broken-facebook-and-instagram-oembed-issue-in-wordpress/?instagram.

    thanks for your answer!
    However:
    your document, to which you pointed above, as a solution to my problem, is only telling me to install this plugin here (that we are talking about), in order to be able to oEmbed posts from instagram.

    Which is not the case, otherwise I would not have written you here.

    I wrote you because inspite of installing and doing everything correctly, I am still not able to show instagram oEmbeds on my website.

    So, could you be so kind and tell me what the problem could be?

    I can show FEEDS in my wp-website, but
    I cannot show single instagram posts in my wp-website.
    The single posts appear as an empty frame, with only some text inside, no image (the same way they appear if I do not use your plugin).
    If I only copy-paste the link to an instagram post, then the WP shows really only that link and nothing else – no oEmbed whatsoever.

    How can I solve this problem?

    I just would like to mention that I installed the plugin exactly because it says, on the first line of its presentation text: “Now automatically powers your Instagram oEmbeds”.

    Sorry, I am at fault! Forget it all!
    I discovered that I did not login to facebook, in that “oEmbed” section of your pugin!
    I confounded it with the instagram login on the first settings page!
    caveat for anybody that happens to make the same stupid error. (I would post a screenshot to be clear, but I see no attachment button here…)
