Hi – I have two sites (development) and live.

I tested a new wordpress theme on my development site https://new.animalstudies.org.au/member-profiles/ and the Directory looked fine. So I have gone ahead and gone live with the new theme onmy lives site https://animalstudies.org.au/member-profiles and the formatting for the Directory has gone (no headings/dividing line and the images are all over the place). Is this a known problem?

I’ve checked all my wordpress/Directory/Plugins are the same from site to site – so I just can’t work out what to do. I’m not a coder, just a front end style user.

Many thanks if anyone can help! lynn

    Hi @sculpturepup

I’m sorry to hear that you ran into issues with this!

On the live site, are you using 5.8.1? If so, that’s a known issue and will be addressed in 5.8.2, due out soon.

You can roll back to a prior version or contact me directly and I can get you the CSS needed to address the issue.

If you want the CSS, please contact us with a link to this forum thread here:?https://awpcp.com/contact/ https://businessdirectoryplugin.com/contact/

    Thanks @bobbied

Yes, we are using 5.8.1 on BOTH sites, with the same theme, and version of wordpress etc. That’s why I’m not sure about why it’s appearing so differently.

Good to know there is a known issue – hopefully 5.8.2 will fix the formatting on the live site – fingers crossed.

Sorry CSS is a little beyond me – thanks for the offer.

Hi everyone – I’ve uploaded 5.8.2 – as expected it hasn’t altered the front end view of the Directory. (I say as expected – because I had 5.8.1 running on both my test site and my live site).

Does anyone have any ideas on what could be wrong? The test site https://new.animalstudies.org.au/member-profiles/ looks okay, and the live site https://animalstudies.org.au/member-profiles has lost all formatting.

    thanks

@sculpturepup can you please clear your site cache? That should solve the problem. You may also need to clear your browser cache.
