I run a WP network and for some reason, when logged into the main network admin panel as a super admin, I am not able to login to some of the subsites (while others yes) as an admin. I have found a workaround by logging in separately, but now I’m having problems with that. I have spent a significant time trying to solve this. It simply shows blank and says I must be “logged in to access this area”. I added the superadmin as such a user in the relevant subsites. I’m suspecting perhaps buried somewhere in the long settings page? Any ideas?

Last time I tried to help someone with a problem like this one it turned out the OP didn’t have a multisite but thought he did.

If you would have supplied a URL of the affected site and the multisite I would have looked for you as sometimes the DNS settings will show the issue or the subsite itself will show that.

If you had to install WordPress on the subsite then you didn’t add the site to the network. And if the superadmin of the network isn’t in the users list for that subsite then it most likely isn’t in the network.

Thank you for your response. The site is
    https://www.islandhoppinginthephilippines.com/
    and the subsite is
    https://www.islandhoppinginthephilippines.com/palawan/

Some of the subsites I can just easily migrate to and stay logged in while others not. Now I am having a problem logging into this second one.

I don’t recall installing a single site under the network. However, recently I did try to install a single site into a subdomain, but it did not work, so I uninstalled it. It seemed to happen at the moment I accidentally ticked “remember me” when logging in, or perhaps that was just my imagination.

    Thanks for the information Paycheckrecords
