Why Plaintext Emails? C’mon
-
Alright, great nice simple plugin that does something that’s super important.
I understand why you don’t make some kind of email design tool. It would add a whole other layer of complexity, which you’d understandably rather avoid for the purposes of this free plugin.
However, I can’t understand why there isn’t the option to inherit the styling of your email templates from the default WooCommerce theme.
I’m using Kadence Email Design plugin for my email designs and it’s fantastic. I made a nice simple theme that I’d like to use for all of my emails. Every other WooCommerce plugin that generates emails pulls from that theme without issue. This one does not.
I normally give 5 stars to every plugin I review, even one’s I end up abandoning because they cause issues. But to me, this seems like such a bizarrely obvious thing to include as an option from what I know to be a very reputable company. You could then just recommend Kadence Email Design plugin in the description for styling your templates, and make this plugin way better.
I know you’ve said you can just drop HTML into the text editor to style them, but trying to reproduce an email theme from the email sourcecode loaded with inline css is not exactly feasible.
Anyway, I’m probably going to give it another shot just doing the HTML from scratch and I’ll happily change my review once this is fixed.
