Parent Categories & Child Categories

What is Categories exactly? Is that one of the recipe taxonomies?
Those do not have parent-child relations.

Categories, as set up in Blog posts.

You’ll be able to filter by categories if you have “Posts” as the post type for the grid.

You’ll be able to filter by recipe taxonomies (like courses, cuisines, keywords, …) if you have “Recipes” as the post type for the grid.

You can’t combine them at the moment.

So we have created Keywords for our recipes and when we set the drop downs to those keywords, none of the recipes come up. Really need better documentation.
