It appears that when I turn on any form of Google font handling (so any setting other than Remove or Leave Alone), a certain weight/style combinations aren’t being loaded.

The H3 tag on the example page should be weight 700 and italic, which the css indicates correctly. It displays as such when Autoptimize isn’t managing Google Fonts.

When I let Autoptimize manage fonts, it appears that this particular combination isn’t loaded (it will render the right weight if I turn off italic, or italic if I turn off the weight, but not both).

It still happens even with all other plugins disabled (I haven’t tried it with the base theme, since the font usage in question is part of the theme).

I don’t suppose you can see any reason why this might be happening?

    Thanks for your time!

(PS: Last time I had a problem with Autoptimize Google fonts it was my own code, but I’m fairly confident it can’t be that particular function this time, as I have since removed that code entirely.)
