Spacing Issues in Chrome

    Plugin does not allow chat users to use the space bar when using Chrome. Space bar does not work – all words are connected. Space bar does work in Safari and Firefox.

    I also cannot get the agent names and photos to update. The agent name, user settings and 3XC settings are all correct – however it still just says agent agent with the generic avatar.

    Hi @hbarrett15 ,
    the issue with space key isn’t an issue with our plugin. Your theme or maybe another plugin handles space and stops the event propagation. May you let us know which theme do you use?

    About the second issue, we have replicated that and the fix will be part of our next release.

    Hi @hbarrett15 ,
    your website loads a javascript library scrollsmooth.js (…/jupiter/assets/js/plugins/wp-enqueue/smoothscroll.js) which seems to be part of your theme. This javascript handles the keydown event and prevent it if it doesn’t raised from certain html element types.
    Our plugin uses the web component technology and that’s why this library faulty prevents the space button functionality.

    Thanks for the quick response. Is there a fix for this issue aside from choosing a different WordPress theme?

    I found adding callus.js to the cache plugin exclusion solves some issues and on another site WP Fastest Cache.
