Can we have tags show up not in dropdown?

When I check tags extension (19usd), in the video you show how site visitors have to go to drop down field and pick their tags.

I prefer that all tags are visible somewhere and user only has to click certain tag (or two as in your video example).

Can this be set up like that?
(this seems like the natural way of how tags are presented in most sites, not in dropdown form)
