I am not a builder, but learning. I found this error log. after W/C update customers cannot input card info for purchasing in check out. Is this an incompatibility issue with the W/C update and square? Having a hard time finding answers to get my checkout fixed so customers can fish orders.

  • Hi @nostalgicwellness,

Are you using the official WooCommerce Square extension? If so, please open up a support ticket and make sure to select Square as the product you’re using.

Also, make sure to include the System Status Report and the URL to your site too.

    Thanks!

Yes, I actually disconnected and reconnected My W/C square to see if that would fix the issue. That did not work. That is when I turned on debugging and tried to purchase from my site then checked the log data. same issue. Should I just reverse the update back to the previous version of W/C? My next question is will the reversal cause more issues. Not sure what to do, as I do not fully understand how to interpret the error log message.

I found a temporary solution using JQuery migrate helper plugin. This will only work for a few more updates. I am looking for a more permanent solution to this problem if there is one. My question is this.
Will this be a constant site management issue that needs to be addressed often?
Just so I know what to expect in the future.
I am currently looking for a new developer in my area to help manage my site. Until then I am tasked with learning to manage it myself.

    Hey @nostalgicwellness,

If the jQuery Migrate helper fixed this, that indicates that either the theme or another plugin is using outdated jQuery code. You could run a conflict test to see which one is causing the trouble. Then notify the developer of that plugin/theme so they can update it.

This guide can explain how to run a conflict test:

Let us know if you have any questions!
