Good set of functions, but may brake your site

  • I have tested this plugin recently. Overall the plugin offers a wide set of helpful and time saving functions.

    However, the plugin does not seem to be cleanly coded. When looking into browser developer consoles it can cause errors and warnings everywhere. It had negative effects on other plugins as well: WP Rocket critical CSS generation did not work properly; products could not be added to shopping cart; payment options selection did not work properly in checkout; many woocommerce functions did not work properly etc.

    Even if warnings or errors are shown, the page may still work properly. In my experience though, such warnings and errors may effect Google rankings. Sometimes Google does not even index pages displaying such errors or warnings.

    The errors appeared even after deactivating the plugin. I had to delete to get rid of the problems. Afterwards I had to switch to a paid solution which is partnered with DHL.

    In case these problems will be solved I am always open to change this review.

    @mexxez we are sorry to hear about your experience with the DHL for WooCommerce plugin. This is the first we have heard of these issues, can you point us to the support requests you filed so we can review and fix them one by one?

    Also, the plugin does not make any modifications on the product page or cart, it only adds some services and fees on the checkout page itself. Can you let us know if you are seeing issues there and what they are?

    We do not have a paid version of the plugin, so are you certain the plugin you are referring to is the DHL for WooCommerce plugin?
