    Hello,

I just downloaded your responsive plugin and donated to support you. Thank you for this amazing plugin. However I am having difficulty understanding how to add the collapse short code. All I see is stackable and even though this does look nice it is not why I purchased this additional plugin.

Can you please show me how to add the collapsible using the plus and minus???
    https://tablepress.org/extensions/responsive-tables/

Here is my code that I have so far
    [table id=1 responsive=collapse responsive_breakpoint=phone /]

    Thank you
    Jennifer

    Hi,

thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

That Shortcode looks correct. My guess is that something else is interfering here.
Can you please post a link to the page with the table where this problem happens, so that I can take a direct look? Thanks!

    Regards,
    Tobias

Hi thank you for responding so quickly.

The table is also not mobile responsive. Oh my what did I do?

I would like the headings Definition, Bible Word Meaning, and Summary to be a drop down.

    Hope this helps, thank you.

Also do I have to use jquery to use the collapsible menu?

I still don’t know how to add the + and – button as stated in your wording:

collapse: The collapse approach can add a hide/expand effect to a table. It will hide the data from those columns that would otherwise be cut-off and instead add that data to a collapsable row that is inserted below each entry. That row can be shown and hidden with a “+” and “-” button. This mode is especially useful in tables that show additional information for some “main” columns, e.g. in a directory table.

    How do you add this?

Okay I figured out the problem. Now how do I add column E, F, G to be collapsible no matter what width it is?

I want it to stay collapsed on all sizes.

    Thank you

    Hi,

not so fast! ?? I’d really like to help you make this work – if you are still interested. If so, please re-add that test page, and I’ll check why it didn’t work!

    Best wishes,
    Tobias
