Doesn’t work then they charge you

  • This plugin didn’t work for me at all, just kept giving me an error. I contacted support and they told me to use another plugin or spend $30 so they could transfer it. Transfers USED to be free on all but the cheapest plan. Now they want you to use a plugin that isn’t going to work so they can charge you for the transfer instead. I won’t be recommending my clients use Siteground anymore since they won’t even be able to get their websites moved over.

  • Hello! I wanted to reach out to you because I ran into this same issue. After seeing your review, I thought I should share what worked for me in case it can help you as well.

    First, I had to request the memory size on my original hosting platform be increased to its maximum size. After that, I had to deactivate ALL of my plugins before attempting the transfer.

    Only then, did the transfer actually work. SiteGround was no help with this.
