Having product page return to the same position

Hi,

For our product navigation page, after the customer clicks on to a product to view the individual page, then when they press “go back” on their browser, it takes them back to the top of the navigation page, even if they are very far down the navigation page.

Can you please advice what’s the best way to add the function to my website, so that when customer returns to the navigation page, they can return to the position on the page that they were at?
