    Hello Support,

    I am trying to connect the Facebook for WooCommerce plugin from my website into my Facebook Artist Page. This is the business FB Page not the personal FB Page.

    I get through all of the steps perfectly but at the very, very end of the process when I hit the final button for connection I get an alert on Facebook that says:

    “Something went wrong when connecting to Facebook!. Please try again” although facebook displayed a success messsage just before. I tried multiple tricks, the ‘wc_facebook_external_business_id’ in my option table as well…

    I have tried multiple times and the same exact error comes up.

    Does anyone know what might be wrong?

    Thanks everyone.

    Josef

    I’ve got the same problem. I accidentally logged out. Later it didn’t connect anymore and gives me the same error

    Some logins do not delete them from the bussiness manager. What have you changed in wp-option?

    I understand that they have to agree with Facebook. Then update the plugin

    Hi @mojoego,

    Thanks for reaching out about Facebook for WooCommerce! I’m sorry that you’re running into this error, but I’ll be happy to help.

    As the error that you’re seeing isn’t very informative, we have a snippet that will give us some additional error information, which may give us a better indication as to what might be happening here. Can you please add the following snippet to your site and attempt to connect to Facebook again? If you aren’t familiar with adding custom code to your site, here is some information as to how to do it. Personally, I like the free Code Snippets plugin method.

    You can view the snippet here:

    add_filter( ‘wc_facebook_connection_proxy_url’, function() { return ‘https://wc-connect-test.skyverge.com/auth/facebook/’;} );

    Once the snippet is in place and you have had a chance to try to connect to Facebook again, would you please send a screenshot or text of any additional error messages that show?

    Thanks,

    Jennifer
