Activation please do not open welcome

    Dear support,

    First off all I love your plugin and I have told everyone I know to use it because it IS very very good, so thanks for that.

    But I have a question while I was working on my WP theme and plugin collection that every time I have your plugin in the list it goes to the welcome screen after activation.

    Yes, I do understand that you like to welcome your users of course but could there be a option to have this be off because it will stop the activation process of all other plugins in the list.

    I now always have to first activate all my 21 plugins in one go and un-check yours and than after activation I have to check yours and activate.

    If I do not do this the welcome screen appears before all selected plugins have been activated.

    Hope you can have a look at this and change it somehow.

    I will escalate your request to the team to consider for future releases. We always consider them and add them to our feature requests lists but some requests take several months if not years to be implemented.

    @mej Thanks for your reply.

    If you add just a little checkbox in the corner on the welcome screen and make a call in the database that if checked == seen == not_show_welcome, something like that.
    Than when I add the options using my script to my database and have this value be ‘yes’, on activation it will see ‘yes’ and not load the screen.

    Or maybe wait until all other all_plugins() have been activated until loading a welcome screen, but I prefer the option to have it be ‘seen’.
