    With the update of WP 5.5.2 my blog was put into development mode. I never had this before. The next point release corrected that.

    With the Yoast SEO update to 15.2.1 I am getting this notification

    “Because of a change in your home URL setting, some of your SEO data needs to be reprocessed.
    We estimate this will take a couple of minutes.

    Start SEO data optimization”

    Once I did the optimization I noticed that in posts, screen options, I still have an option space to check received internal links.

    My sister that didnt glitch on WP update and doesn’t have that check box anymore.

    Thanks for reaching out.

    You mentioned that after performing the SEO Data Optimization, you noticed that in posts, screen options, you have an option to check received internal links. We are not entirely sure what that is.

    It will be helpful if you can send us screenshots of the issue so that we can understand it better.

    Thank you. There is no way provided to add screen shots. How do you want me to share them. By email somewhere? Or can you add a way here to send 2 screenshots?

    @marilyn1998 You can include an image in your reply by uploading a screenshot using a tool like https://pasteboard.co/ or something similar, and then pasting the link to the image within your reply.

    @marilyn1998 Thanks for your reply. We aren’t sure why you wouldn’t see the same choices in the screen options for both sites. Can you please confirm whether you see the ‘Start SEO data optimization’ button when you go to SEO>Tools? Or does this show as ‘SEO data optimization complete’?

    It is showing a green bar saying optimization complete.

    Hi Marilyn!

    On the site where you’re not seeing that option, can you please perform the following?

    1. Disable the “Text link counter” feature under SEO > General > Features tab.
    2. Clear your cache from your caching plugins, server, CDN like Cloudflare, and your browser. If you are not sure how to clear the cache from your caching plugin, please contact the plugin developer. If you’d like to clear the cache from your server, please speak to your host provider. To clear the cache from your browser, use this guide.
    3. Enable the “Text link counter” feature again.

    Does it resolve the issue?

    If not, can you please check if there are Javascript errors on your browser’s console? You may follow the steps here.
