I have disabled any new plugins installed recently in case it was that, but still nothing. I think this happened after the latest wordpress update.

Hey @maxitup

It looks like this may be caused due to a theme conflict, or possibly a third-party plugin. I’d recommend the conflict-testing steps here to isolate the source of the issue: https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/how-to-test-for-conflicts/

The best way to determine if the issue is being caused by a theme and/or plugin is to do the following:
– Temporarily switch your theme back to a default theme, such as Storefront.
– Disable all plugins except for WooCommerce.
– Clear your browser cache, and the cache on your site if you have one there.
– Test to see if the issue has been resolved.

If that resolves the issue, then one-by-one you can switch back your theme and re-enable your plugins, testing in between, until the problem appears again. This will then give you an idea about which plugin is the one causing the conflict.

Hi @senff

Thanks for the reply, I have tried a different theme and it was the same.

As its a live site then testing the plugins might be harder, but I will see what I can find.

It’s definitely tricky if you have a live site that you don’t want to mess with.

Because of that, I’d recommend using a staging site where you can do your testing.

If you don’t already have a staging site set up, check with your hosting company as many offer this as part of their packages. Otherwise, you can use a free plugin such as WP Staging to set one up.

Also, to help troubleshoot, you can use these plugins:
– Meks Quick Plugin Disabler is a plugin you can install which will remember what plugins you currently have active so it’s easy to switch them back on.
– Health Check is a plugin that allows you to temporarily disable other plugins and switch themes for that session without impacting your site’s visitors.

Now I am really confused, used the plugin WP Staging, and it all works in my cloned site.

I cant replicate the issue in there.

Hi @maxitup. Sorry we missed your last response.

Have you been able to resolve this issue? It’s odd that the problem is happening on your production site but not the staging site. Often, this is due to a difference in the settings or performance of caching plugins.

Does deactivating WP Fastest Cache and WordFence temporarily help, or has updating to the newer versions of WooCommerce resolved the issue?

Hi, this was actually caused by a memory issue in the end. Memory was only set to 64mb, increasing that resolved it.
