    Hi,

All WordPress, plugins and theme is up to date.

After auto update to WP Mail SMTP 2.5 my SMTP settings is reset. I tried to connect Gmail SMTP again, with the same cerdentials and updated Authorized redirect URI. I saved the settings and then clicked on “Allow plugin to send emails using your Google account” button, sign in with chosed Google account as I specifyed in From field (btw this address is different from the admin address in WordPress settings) and allow access.
But after that I redirected to the WP Mail SMTP settings and see the following error message:
“There was an error while processing the authentication request. Please try again.”
    https://prntscr.com/vc2bc9

I created new OAuth 2.0 Client ID for the same project by your documentation:
    https://wpmailsmtp.com/docs/how-to-set-up-the-gmail-mailer-in-wp-mail-smtp/
But I receive the same error.

    Could you help me?

    Regards,
    Svitozar Lys

    Hi Svitozar,

from what you described, you did everything correctly.

Is the ‘wpmailsmtp.com’ domain added to the “Authorized domains” list in the “OAuth Consent Screen” section in the Google developer console for your oAuth app?

The other thing you could test out is creating a new project with a new oAuth app.

Let me know how it goes.

    Take care!
