    Hello team,
Updraft has not been taking the regular weekly scheduled backups since October 3rd. Upon checking the setting page, I noticed the warning -“WordPress has a number (25) of scheduled tasks which are overdue. Unless this is a development site, this probably means that the scheduler in your WordPress install is not working”

I started using this plugin from 6th August (my site is new too), and now I don’t see the other old backups, just September backups I could find locally as well as in my GDRIVE. The August and October files are missing in both. From yesterday, I have been trying to take full website backup. But it fails every time. It took almost 24hours, yet did’t complete. Moreover, the next scheduled time and date is showing me OCTOBER 1ST, instead of November, how weird!

After reading a few threads, I followed your instruction of reducing the default file size 400mb to 25mb. Still, the backup halts at a certain stage and never proceeds ?? What should I do now? Please help me with this!

    Thanks,
    Anamika

    Hi,

For us to check, please could you send us a copy of the latest full backup log?
This can be found in the UpdraftPlus Existing Backups tab.The contents will be too long to post here directly, but you can use an online service such as Dropbox or Pastebin, and post the link here.

    Hello team,

Thank you for your prompt reply. Just a few minutes back, I checked the Updraft setting page and got this message – The backup apparently succeeded and is now complete (Nov 01 19:23:44). Also, I don’t see that warning message too! As I mentioned above that I tried to take backups several times but had to stop it because the backup action wasn’t proceeding at all! I am not sure how it happened and can’t trust this November backup thing. Hence, I am sending you both the latest logs from 24th September & 1st November. Kindly, check these out.

    Latest September 2020 Log – https://pastebin.com/gqhRaZ2v

    Latest November Log – https://pastebin.com/fMJ9gTF7

Also, till yesterday I had 4 September backup files (3rd, 10, 17th and 24th) in the Existing Backup Section.Somehow due to this November backup file, I don’t see the 3rd Sept file now. So my question is if I delete the old backup files like 10th and 17th September manually from the dashboard, will it remove the files from my Gdrive too?

    Thanks,
    Anamika

    Hello @davidanderson @bcrodua

As you requested, I shared those update log details here, but I haven’t yet received any response from your end. Today, when my site crashed (thanks to host provider’s hard-drive issues) I tried to restore my website using the last November files, the restore failed! It showed me that error caused due to YOAST SEO plugin. I could enter my admin dashboard using a recovery mode link given by WORDPRESS via gmail. In the plugin section, I couldn’t find UPDRAFT or any new plugins that I installed way back on 3rd August. I deactivated yoast, and I tried to install updraft but it showed me that updraft exists already in destination folder! Now, when I am viewing my website on Google, I don’t see homepage, banner, images, AMP version anything. Could you please check those log details and tell me if they have any errors? At least I upload the September files, if November one is corrupted. Please help!

    Thanks,
    Anamika

    Hi @anamikanbam

    Apologies for the delay.

Can you please share the logs again? It seems to have expired.

Do you have any caching or security plugins installed? Can you also try to temporarily deactivate and see if that fixes the missing images?

    Regards,
    Bryle
