Pages

  • I’m a wordpress newbie and I am trying to understand how the pages feature works.

    I want to post to the front page but I am also wanting these post to go to individual pages.

    I know that there is someway to do this because URB Magazine does it on there page and they use wordpress. There page can be found at https://www.urb.com/

  • you cant do that, what they did i think is installed multiple wordpresses. So for the reviews page they made a sub directory called reviews and installed wp on it. Thats it

    Go to Settings => Reading => Select “A static page” => Then choose your page from the “Front Page” drop-down

    no, what i think he means is he wants a blog on his front page and pages, so that couldent work

    I understand. So I should prob use the category feature then and set it up like https://www.website.com/category/events/ to get it to post to my front page and to a events page?

    that would work too, or your could use tags, doesnt really matter. Something i dont suggest but its up to you, you could make a page and make an iframe in it of the catogorys page

    Also your saying you wouldn’t suggest using the category or tags to accomplish this?

    Not to sound stupid but what is a iframe?
