Swap page content – non-programmer :-/

  • hi, i have mistakenly put images on the index page which should go to the ‘images’ page and i get comments on a page which i now want to put on the index.
    so
    1st i have to get all images to the right page and off the index/home page
    2nd i have to get all comments from one of my other two pages to go on the index page and
    3rd i obviously have to disable comments on all but the index page.
    this is a new blog so there is not much to move around.

  • 1. Reverse whatever you did to get the images on to the index page if you want to remove them.

    2. It’s extremely difficult to move comments from 1 page to another.

    3. Admin/Settings/Discussion. Disable comments on all pages. If your home page is a static page, you can then re-enable comments on just that 1 page.
