The owner is very fast to respond to problems and personal support is easy to obtain and thorough. Plus, the rates are fairly inexpensive, although the light plan is no longer offered in one-month increments.

I use https://www.crosswinds.net/ for my domain and sub-domains.

Has cpanel, is blog compliant. Has several hosting packages.

I have wordpress 1.2 there, installed via Fantastico in Cpanel.

I just run my own server. I can do anything I damn well please. ??

Fortunately, my ISP allows servers. Unfortunately, most don’t.

I recommend https://www.dreamhost.com Their prices are great for the features that they offer. Amongst those features, they also offer a one-click installation for WordPress.

I use WordPress myself and I’ve got a server. If you want hosting I’ll gladly help you out forn no cost. You do get what you pay for but you’ll have my number to call me if you have problems.

Try LVCS. They are damn cheap and has got a wonderful service.

I can you suggest LIONICS for webhosting, especially WordPress, Gallery2, Midgard.

They have been hosting my (many) sites since 2001 with minimum downtime, and what little there is has been planned and warned of way in advance. The prices are competitive (not dirt cheap, as I believe you get what you pay for), and help and support are always available. You won’ t be left stranded.
