Set order when using include

I’m using shortcodes on my page, and I want to include just a few pages in the list. I’d also like to specify the order somehow.

[pagelist_ext show_image=”1″ image_width=”125″ include=”507, 1850,1847,1856″ limit_content=”250″ sort_column=”menu_order” sort_order=”asc”]

I was hoping there was a way to display the pages in the order specified in “include”, but that doesn’t seem to work. Menu_order sounded like a good idea, but I haven’t figured out how that is supposed to work either. I added these pages to my main menu, and it didn’t seem to have an effect.
