    Hello all!

In my webshop I have 74 products. For each product you can choose the ‘item’ and ‘size’ you want (variations). The ‘item’ and ‘size’ are the attributes. Now I want to add an item (dungarees for kids) to the attribute ‘item’ and this is only availble in a few sizes. How can I do this the most easy/efficient?

    Please help me out!

  • Hi @mvw1985. Are item and size global attributes? If so, you can use a product-specific attribute for the kids dungarees, or a different global attribute. Would that work?

Hi Austin, thanks for your reply. Item and size are indeed global attributes and I already added Dungaree as a specific attribute for the attribute ‘Item’. But now I want the dungaree to be visible for all my 74 fabrics (products) in the shop in 3 specific sizes. So I am looking for some kind of bulk action to make this possible.

If you need more information, let me know!

    Hi again,

Thanks for explaining! While there’s no simple bulk action that would achieve this, I’d suggest heading to WooCommerce> Products, and exporting your products to a .csv file. Once it’s been exported, add the necessary attribute to the products, then go back to WooCommerce> Products and re-import them. When importing, make sure to check the Update existing products box.

If you get stuck, this guide should point you in the right direction – https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/product-csv-importer-exporter/

    Best,

Hi. I used the plugin Woobe Bulk editor and managed to add the new attribute really easily to all the 74 fabrics ??
    So it is solved now!

    Thank you Austin and Ross.

Great! You’re very welcome! I’m going to go ahead and mark this thread as resolved. Feel free to create a new thread if you have any further questions!
