403 forbidden trying to setup post views

Hi guys,

I’m trying to setup the post views setting and connect to GA, but it’s throwing a 403 forbidden error.

Can someone please help explain what I’m doing wrong? The link to the documentation for the posts view page is a broken link and I can’t find any info on the forums but I’ve followed the instructions on the setup page twice and just cannot get it to work.

Here’s what I’ve done:

1. I’ve setup up the OAuth consent screen external app and made sure the domain is authorised.
2. I’ve setup the credentials – web app with the redirect URI
3. And then copied over the client id and secret key.

I’ve done all of the above in my Google API account with the same login credentials as the linked GA account.

I’ve tried clearing the settings, and going through the whole process again, and still throws a 403 everytime I try.

It successfully gets to the prompt to authorise access to ‘view google analytics data’ but when I click allow it throws a 403 error.

I’m using the latest version of WordPress (5.5.1) and the Powerkit plugin (2.3.8)
