mod_socache_redis – any configuration for it?

    hello!
    I found this module in cPanel: mod_socache_redis
    WHM > Software > Easy Apache 4 > Apache Modulees

    Just a few short questions please.
    Is there a specific benefit when using this on a VPS?
    Do I need any configuration or just install and forget?
    I also have installed the PECL Redis extension.
