• Tell me, my hosting provider swears that I have a heavy load on the processor (18%). I think the deal is with the WP Super Cache plugin. When it is off, my load is 2% -5%, when I turn it on, it is 10% -20%.
The report says that requests for the site are coming from my IP address. Tell me, what am I doing wrong?

  • Is your site running on a network filesystem like NFS or SMB? That might be why you’re seeing extra CPU usage.
Are you using a particularly cheap hosting service that doesn’t have much resources on the machine? Then any extra code at all will cause extra load.

This plugin usually helps decrease CPU usage on WordPress sites.
