    Hi,

    I have been loving the plugin up this point and cloned about 8 sites in s multisite network. Today I run it and all it seems to create is new blank sites, not clones. The ‘pop up’ doesn’t show either, just the progress bar on the main page, that doesn’t seem to move every much.

    Any ideas what could be causing this?

    Hi @mikenco — typically a server error like that is the result of a plugin conflict (perhaps a plugin auto-update or similar change could be responsible for it failing now after working ok previously). Can you check your PHP error log to find out what the specific error message is behind that 500 response?

    Using the Jquery Migrate plugin, I see this message:

    Any idea what any of this means?

    We’ll be releasing an update soon that will remedy the deprecated jQuery.fn.load warning, but that won’t prevent the plugin from working or be the cause of the problem you’re experiencing, since it’s on the server that the request is failing, not the client side. The key would be what your server / PHP error log reports for the cause of that 500 error as mentioned above.

    If I run NS Cloner, this seems to be the only error in the log:

    I have uninstalled and reinstalled NS Cloner. Am running out of things to check.

    Any ideas? ??

    I have nothing set to auto-update.

    I just whitelisted the URL request.body[flag=ns_cloner_process_init].

    Still no luck.

    I think I’ll clone this entire multisite to a staging domain and start switching off the plugins one-by-one.

    Ah! I have an previous staging of this from a few weeks ago, that is showing 8 plugins that need updating.

    I did this message previously on the NS Cloner pop-up.

    “It appears background processing may be getting blocked on the server (or could just be running slowly). Activating backup AJAX processing to ensure completion, so please keep this window open.”

    Unfortunately without a specific error message we can’t really determine what’s happening. If you contact your host they may be able to help provide an actual error log (not just the access log that only lists “Error 500” without any message).

    Today I face into the exactly same issue which is described here by @mikenco.
    I have not installed new Plugins since I have run the last clone.

    Hi @nisto2016 — sorry to hear you’re having that difficulty as well. The same answer provided to the OP would apply to your case also: if you can provide a server error message that will be very helpful. As soon as we have that from one of you (assuming it’s the same error happening in both cases) we can proceed with trying to find a solution.
