how to update without losing customizations?

  • Hello
    I’m using Appointment Blue on My WP 5.5.1 site. Please, how to update the theme to the latest version without losing customizations?
    It is a child theme, so I can’t create a sub-child, or not?

    Hi,

    You can update the theme to the latest version without losing customization.
    In the latest version, we have moved the Homepage sections to our companion plugin called ” Webriti Companion”. So you need to install and activate the plugin. Once the plugin activated your homepage sections will show.
    Refer to the screenshot to see how to install and activate the plugin.

    Follow the below steps:

      Update the Appointment theme.
      Update the Appointment Blue theme.
      Install and activate the companion plugin.
