Pages now showing post title and different post text

  • To start, my blog is https://www.barefootbrandon.com

    I’ve been making edits to the site recently and all of a sudden I noticed some craziness going on with the Page elements. When I click a Page link at the top of the site (such as Race Results and Photos), what shows up is the title of one of my posts, along with the text from another post. I look in the wp-admin and the Page is still configured properly, but it isn’t showing up on my site anymore! Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Dear Esme-

    I am working with Thesis, non-customized.

    I think my problem was that I entered the text and photo thru some sort of back door. After some more fiddling with the software I was able to see the text and photos, deleted both and am now entering the data through the icons on the editing screen in edit page. Much better and can even make changes and tweeks.

    Hey esmi,

    Sorry, I meant to mention that I use a modified P2 theme, but I don’t ever remember changing anything to do with the functions or anything, just the style sheet and some of the page, index, etc files. Any thoughts?

    Have you tried deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem? If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    esmi, I actually ended up switching themes, as I figured I must have screwed up the P2 theme at some point. I like my new theme too, so you can consider this post closed.
