Slug isn’t same after update

In addition to the slug not remaining the same, I believe when I schedule a post update, the plugin removes the featured image of that post.

Yep @kevinb. Here’s what I’m using:

1. Elementor – Use it only for homepage.
2. Code Snippet – Update date after post gets an update.
3. Elements (from Generate Press) – Navigation search box and affiliate notice for all WP posts.

Do you have a test site available? Can you disable these other plugins one-by-one to see if that solves the issue?

@mattstick We don’t support page builder plugins with the free plugin. With Revisions Pro, we haven’t formally established Elementor support, but a number of customers are using it successfully. If you want to subscribe, we can probably work out a solution.

I only used Elementor on my Homepage — not my posts. And even then, my other site doesn’t have Elementor and the problem is still there.

Do you think upgrading to Pro would solve this problem @kevinb?

The Pro version alone isn’t guaranteed to fix this, but the Pro support is faster and able to dig deeper into the technical side of problems like this.

For the record, we determined that the page slug was only modified in the Yoast metabox in “Edit Revision” view. The plugin has safeguards to prevent revision publication from changing the published page slug. It looks like those worked in this case too.
