    Hi,

I’ve been asked to sort out a website that’s still running WooCommerce 2.0.19 on WordPress 4.7.18.

It would seem that the website is running PHP 7.1 and is somehow still functional, but I’m not sure how I would go about updating WooCommerce, which shows no “Update” option.

Can anyone suggest an upgrade path. I’m quite happy to download some older intermediate versions from github and do it in stages, but would rather avoid going through every single intermediate step e.g. 2.0.19 -> 20.020 -> 3.0.0 -> 3.1.0 etc if I can help it.

Would the database update scripts allow me to go 2.0.19 -> 3.0.0 -> 4.0.0?

    Hey there!

Yes, I would typically recommend going in stages like you are mentioning.

I would say jumping a few versions would be the best case, something like 2.0.19 to 2.2.0, to 2.4 or something similar.

I would obviously recommend taking full backups of course.
