Adsense 2.1a error

    Hi,

    I’ve been getting the 2.1a IAB TC error in AdSense for a few weeks now.
    About a week ago, I have enabled the TCF v2.0 integration on the privacy settings page (I am using Quantcast Choices).
    However, I’m still getting the error in AdSense.

    I browsed to my website in incognito mode to see the consent pop-up (but I didn’t accept it) and went to the source code. When looking for ‘adsbygoogle’, I can only find the script.
    Does this script has to be disabled by default as well to clear the 2.1a error?

    Thanks for reaching out.

    This script should not be in your source code before you gave your consent. I guess that this is the reason for your 2.1a error.

    Please, don’t forget to purge your caches after disabling the script.

    I’ve now placed the AdSense script in an ad with a head placement.

    Should this be enough?

    Thanks for your prompt reply.

    You did not add a link to your website, so I cannot check the integration by myself.

    What you report sounds correct. No AdSense script should be directly integrated anymore. Here, you can find further information about the integration as well as an advise about how to test it.
