• There was a need for appointment booking forms for the website – Forminator looked as a good choice, so I have used it for the first form and it was easy/intuitive to create the form.

With the second form we needed a date picker with calendar and initially Forminator’s component did not work very well (calendar with transparent background was difficult to use on mobile phones), so I went through a number of alternatives (both free and trial Pros) and there was always something missing or not as good as in Forminator. At the end of the day, I have returned to Forminator and via forum got a quick support which solved the issue with calendar via custom CSS.

During this exercise I found that free Forminator actually beats other alternatives (that I have tried) in many aspects and ticks all necessary boxes for me:
    – easy to use drag-and-drop (as in other alternatives)
    – plenty of very useful fields (substantially more than in other free plugins)
    – fields have very rich and customizable functionality
    – conditional logic and appearance customizing via CSS
    – submissions local storage and statistics
    – ability to preview form before publishing
    – ability to create multiple email notifications using fields short codes
    – good and quick support via WP Forum

So far I am a very happy user of Forminator and can vouch for it after about two month of testing and using in production site.

  • Hi @eugene212

I hope you’re well! Thanks so much for taking the time to review our Forminator plugin to such an extend.

I’ve also shared your feedback with our Forminator team so they can further test what you mentioned about the calendar view on mobile devices and improve that further.

    Best regards,
    George
