Post excerpt not showing

    Hi!
    Thanks for your great plugin! I appreciate its versatility.

    So my problem: I activated the “Show Post Excerpt” toggle in the settings, but I still get the “There is no excerpt because this is a protected post” when I use a simple Elementor post grid. The excerpt is hidden on the live website right now, but I want to be able to use it. I also get the default message (in french) in the search box to the right, but just to make sure, I temporarily added an Elementor post grid in the same page and I also got the “there is no excerpt” message.

    Also, when I try to change either the excerpt or the default message using the PHP tricks described here: https://passwordprotectwp.com/docs/display-featured-image-password-protected-excerpt/
    It doesn’t do anything, I don’t know is it’s related.

    We have tested on our side and it works correctly. It works for other users as well.

    It could be a conflict or something.

    To assist you better, can you please send us a screenshot of your (child) theme functions.php where you implement our code snippet?
