Fashion Diva Static Homepage Padding Too Big

I use the free Fashion Diva Theme. At the moment I am trying to change my homepage to a static page. I want to make the homepage more interactive and am therefore creating images with clickable links etc. and have added them to a page in order for that page to be used as a static page. Strange thing is, when I select the page to be used as a static page, the margin in between the menu (I use the primary location) and the first image on the page is too big. I can’t find a way to minimise it and it frustrates me since it just does not look attractive! I haven’t published the static page yet, but if it is needed in order for you to be able to see it, let me know. I use the second header layout by the way if that makes any difference.
