Hi, I have been successfully using the plugin with Polylang for months now.

Just this week I noticed that translating no longer works. I just get to see the spinning wheel after clickin on translate. The javascript console in Safari (Mac) tells me this:

TypeError: undefined is not an object (evaluating ‘responses.data.request.cached’)

    (anonymous function) – deepl-metabox.js:72
    i – jquery.js:2:27368
    fireWith – jquery.js:2:28123
    x – jquery.js:4:22587
    c – jquery.js:4:26778

Any ideas? I’m calling the plugin from a regular html post, not a Visual Composer, but I do have King Composer installed.

Thanks for the update! I just tried, but got no response it seems – the wheel quickly spins for a microsecond, then nothing.
Also the javascript console doesn’t return any issues.

What I got in the log section:

    a:10:{s:4:”date”;s:19:”07/10/2020 14:10:42″;s:5:”class”;s:13:”DeepLApiUsage”;s:6:”uniqid”;b:0;s:4:”type”;s:5:”fresh”;s:4:”mode”;s:3:”GET”;s:17:”request_microtime”;d:0.20787596702575684;s:4:”args”;a:0:{}s:8:”response”;a:2:{s:15:”character_count”;i:8109;s:15:”character_limit”;i:1000000;}s:15:”response_length”;i:50;s:12:”why_no_cache”;s:17:”Cache not allowed”;}

Can you set the log Level to “Full”, then try a translation to check the log ?

Log is on full, but when I tried to translate from French to English I didn’t get any log results. However I noticed something else unusual: there are two entries for ‘English’ in the dropdown, none of which work.

When I tried to translate into another language (Dutch), it worked well!
So my guess is that the double English entry brings trouble.

Ok, so 1.2.5.3 fix double english language in selector.
It shouldn’t impact translation though (both “english” languages are sent as “EN” source to DeepL who doesn’t discriminate enGB/enUS in the source.

Further than that, it seems that the plugin has trouble working on some installs.
Starting now, I’ll try to fix the bugs reported with a full description of the editor context.

@kennyswift could you provide me with a direct access to a dev/preprod env ?

Ah yes, I see now – US and GB, that is more clear. Indeed it doesn’t work yet.

Where can I send you login details? (thanks for the offer!)
