How to completely overwrite the default display of images

    Hello,

    I would love it if it showed Jetpack Gallery if someone for example clicks on some picture in my article (not talking about the Gallery, just a single picture upload).

    When I link the picture to the Attachment Page, sometimes it opens the Jetpack gallery in the articles, and sometimes it opens the default theme I have (Idk why, some conflict?).

    I would like it to be only linking as a Media or Attachment file to the gallery display of Jetpack.

    I’m not entirely sure what you mean.

    Do you mean Carousel instead of the gallery? https://jetpack.com/support/carousel/

    And, would you please give us a link to the post or page with the problem?

    Hey @macmanx ,

    yes, that’s what I meant- Carousel. I phrased it poorly because I could not figure out the name.

    I currently was not able to replicate the issue, but it has happened today and a few days ago too (I basically linked all of my pictures to Attachment) but they were still showing in the default lightbox from my theme. Now the weird part is that after I removed the Attachment again and redid the process with linking to the Attachment, it showed Jetpack Carousel. The same thing happened a few days ago with all of my pictures in one post. I made sure it was Attachment Page and not Media.

    It seems completely random at this point whether it is going to show with Jetpack Carousel or my default lightbox.

    I have Carousel enabled all the time.

    It is possible that Carousel may be incompatible with your theme’s lightbox.

    The next time it happens, would you please let us know?

    Hey @macmanx ,

    I just encountered the same problem today.
    This is the page where it’s linking to my default lightbox instead of the Jetpack’s one if you click on any of the images in the article. I linked them all to the Attachment URL in Gutenberg.
