Free Registration & Profiles

  • Hi!

    We would like to know if there is a plugin that allows us to have our visitors register and create a profile. We would like it to be free. We do not want them to have any access to update the site, we just want them to be able to leave comments and have a profile. Something simple where they have a username, photo or avatar, and basic “about me” type of thing.

    From researching things like WordPress MU and Buddypress, we are not really sure what exactly they create, or if that is even the right direction :\.
