• Hello,

I am new to WordPress and doing anything like this at all.

I understand I can have a static page as the front page of my website so that I can customise it.

When I do this and customise the menu and side bar to how I want it…I then go on my other pages (blog, about, contact, etc.) the menu and sidebar look like the default theme settings and not the custom ones I chose.

I tried turning off the static page and have the home page as just a blog, but now when I try and change the fonts etc. they won’t change.

I have tried two different themes with this problem and realised it’s not a theme issue, it’s just me missing something.

I would like to know how I can edit my website’s header and side bar so they are the same on all pages; how to choose the fonts etc on my page.

I had tried the search and also youtube and google and not found any help with this yet.

    Thank you in advance <3

This should be the default and should happen automatically. My guess is that you may be seeing a cached version of the inner pages.

    What is your website address?

… how to choose the fonts etc on my page.

This depends on the active theme: some themes offer font and other styling options, some do not.

If you can mention your website address I could take a look and see what might be going on.

@gappiah my website isn’t launched yet and I have a coming soon page up so you won’t be able to see it. How can I check out if im seeing a cached version?

Also how annoying that only some themes offer font customisation. Lol.

@gappiah I tried a different browser with a clear cache and am still having the same problem… any other suggestions?

    Thanks or your time ??
