Login status issue since 2020/10/01 update

    Since running the latest update this morning, October 01, 2020, we immediately stated get reports of users trying to login, but the page is not showing them are logged in. A check in WP Admin, shows they are actually logged. I deactivate your plugin, and the problem goes away. I have had to install a different caching plugin in the mean time. Please help.

    did you enable the “logged-in user” option?

    Yes, that box is checked.

    I go through the login process and once it returns to the homepage it does not show me that I am logged in. I check in WP-Admin, and I am logged in though. As soon as I turn off WP Fastest Cache, everything works just as it should.

    No, that was one of the first things I tried.

    I re-activated the plug-in, deleted all cache (I had done this at the very start), and now it seems to be working fine. Thank you.

    I had the same login issue frontend users weren`t directed to login dashboard and thus user appeared not logged in even though logged in in the backend wp admin user. Disabled plugin and all worked fine.

    Tried clearing cache didnt work performed a database cleanup with all option now everything is working fine again.

    are you using a server-side cache system? if not, can you try another cache plugin please? we need to be sure that your site is compatible with the cache plugins.

    Litespeed is installed serverside tried it with wp plugin enabled all worked fine site is cache compatible the programmer recommends cache plugins like yours.

    We are back to the same problem as my original message. User logs in, goes through the login process and the page comes back with the login prompt again. Yet they ARE logged in in WP-Admin. All cache has been cleared etc. Looks like we move to another caching plugin if you can’t fix this.
