Share calendar in two sites

Hello,

I am looking to integrate a calendar that would be shared between two sites at the same host, but completely independent. I have looked at the possibility of installing the geti9n multisite but it seems complicated for my needs. I’m looking for a way to integrate the same calendar in both sites into WordPress.

I am looking at My calendar which looks interesting, but I have read that I can also integrate the Google calendar directly into the sites. I would only have to create a google gmail account and give access to the calendar to the two organizations who could update it according to their needs (sharing the same places eg: meeting room). I don’t need anything fancy.

Is Google Calendar a good idea or do you have another suggestion.
