Timed Content not showing at start time until republished

I too, have been having this problem for over a year. The plugin used to work properly on another site I had hosted at GoDaddy, but then stopped working and has never worked since. Since then, I’ve tested this plugin “every which way but loose”, and cannot make it work.

The problem: I add the Timed Content module with an image or text to show at a particular date/time. When the start time arrives, the content/image does not show up. If I go back into the content, a new development is, I now have to open the content, save it, then republish. (I used to only have to republish the page without resaving the TC module).

I’m using a Mac (OS 10.15.6), and have tested in Safari and Chrome browsers: regular, private and Incognito windows. I have cleared browser, Beaver Builder, and Siteground caches before, during and after.

I have made sure the time zones in settings are set accurately on my computer, the WordPress site, and in Timed Content. I have called GoDaddy and asked them if their servers have a time code associated (no).

My latest testing is a brand new WordPress install on a different host (Siteground) with minimal setup, as follows.
Active and up-to-date plugins: Beaver Builder Plugin Pro, Timed Content (a newly downloaded version), SG Optimizer (tried on and off)
Theme: Twenty Twenty (on the GoDaddy installation, I also used the Beaver Builder Child theme).
