Hi,
and thank you for writing in!
The loading speed could depend on many factors, so it’s not simple discovering what is causing a slowdown.
For example, it could also depend by the performances of your hosting service: there are many hosting providers in the world. You should choose the one you prefer and, based to what you need, you should choose the best hosting service.
Why my site is slow?
The first thing to do is asking “Why my site is slow?”. You can find a fast-answer to this question by analyzing your site with tools as gtmetrix.
By analyzing that result you could check what can be optimized in your site.
Optimize Styles and Scripts
You can increase your speed performance by optimizing your site scripts. For instance, you can use Autoptimize plugin for this.
Use Google Chrome Audits
To test your site performances, you can also use the Lighthouse tool available in Google Chrome Dev Tools: here you can find some suggestions about how to speed up your site.
You can find further information about this by following this link: https://developers.google.com/web/tools/lighthouse/
Test with light site
You can make a simple test with a “light” version of your site.
To do it, please try to disable all plugins and your theme (by activating a WordPress Twenty theme) to check your site speed without no-plugin (and theme).
Then try to activate only WooCommerce and YITH WooCommerce Quick View and test the page speed again; then try to activate the plugins again, one by one, to see which one slows down your site.
Please try these solutions and let us know what’s the result!
