WP YouTube Lyte problem with Recent Posts Core Block

    Hi, I use WP YouTube Lyte on a few sites of mine and now for the first time I have a problem with it:

    I tried to use the “Recent Posts Block” (a Widget from the Core Blocks) in the block editor. When I activate the option to display excerpts in there and try to save the current state, WP shows an error message “update not successful” (or similar – I get it in German). When I try to view the page after that, it’s completely blank. When I now remove that block in the editor, the page content is displayed again.

    I went through the usual debugging steps, switched to Twenty Twenty theme and deactivated all plugins, then reactivated them one by one. The result: It works when I deactive WP YouTube Lyte, it does *not* work with WP YouTube Lyte activated. All other plugins are fine.

    I have no idea what’s causing this, but I hope you can find a solution and make an update.
