Featured Image

  • I do not want my featured image to appear at the top of the page. How can I put it at the bottom or hide it entirely. I just want it to be the image that is the thumbnail for when you send someone the webpage.

    You can go to the customizer-> Header -> Header Media and remove the header you have uploaded. Then to display this image as a featured image when you share the link, go to your Dashboard-> Pages -> and search for the page you have as your frontpage and click edit. There you should see an option on the right that says featured image where you can upload the image you want to be displayed when sharing the site link and then click update.

    No the header media is a different photo. When I put a featured image in there (my logo) it pastes the logo at the top of the page (not in the header). How can I fix this?

    You can go to Appearance->Customize->Content->Single Post->Featured Image and Checkmark on Disable.
