Ivory Search highlight only works once

    Hi, I have an issue with the Ivory Search plugin. When I turn on the “Highlight Search Terms” option, it works ok once, ie. highlight appears on the correct word, but after I try any other search it keeps highlighting only the same word I searched in first instance.

    The highlighted word stays the same no matter what I search. It does not reflect the different search terms.

    What could I be missing? Will I need to edit my website’s theme files?

    I have tested it on my test site and it’s working fine for me using the latest version of the Ivory Search plugin.

    Are you using any cache?

    If yes then please try clearing and temporarily deactivating the cache.

    Could you please share your site URL where it’s happening so that I can troubleshoot it?

    I could confirm the issue on your shared website but this can be due to conflict with the cache that you are using on your website.

    Could you please test it temporarily deactivating the cache?

    Have you tested it temporarily deactivating the WP-Optimize – Clean, Compress, Cache that you are using on your website?
