clicking visual editor buttons will download html files

  • has anyone had this problem with the visual editor?

    buttons in the visual editor toolbar that have scripted popup windows when clicked (insert hyperlink, paste plain text) are malfunctioning.

    clicking one of them pops the window up, but instead of loading the html page in the popup, the browser downloads it instead. i am running windows 7, and this happens in google chrome and firefox (not IE8).

    I’m positively baffled.
